In college, Julie’s big decision was whether to major in art or pre-med. She quickly discovered that art was a lot more fun, so Julie received a B.A. in fine arts specializing in painting from the University of Pennsylvania. After college she moved to New York City where she worked in the couture buying offices of Saks Fifth Avenue as an administrative assistant. She decided to continue her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology and soon afterwards began working as a textile artist and fashion designer in the garment center.

Yemanja
Brazilian born and raised, Andrea Folger works with her dressmaker, Sophia and 10 seamstresses in the mountainuos town of Minas Gerais.
We spotted Andrea's designs in her tiny South Florida shop and were amazed with her unique combinations of pieced cotton-lycra blend fabrics which are as comfortable as they are flattering. The garments in Andrea's collection are dyed outdoors in boiling pots of organic brazilan dyes resulting in the rich and varied tones.
